“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…“(John 3:16).
God had a strong feeling of affection for mankind that He gave His only son so that we(the Believers) will not perish. What a gift! Love came down and laid his life for us. Oh Love divine!
God send Jesus Christ to the world as a free will offering. He is a generous God and His nature has always been to give.
The Bible tells us it is more blessed to give than receive. There are many laws in place for the giver, therefore, we must learn to be givers in the right way.
One of the primary benefit of gift giving is the good feeling one get when one does something good for someone special. There is a magical moment – a moment of satisfaction, when one has put a smile on someone’s face. Your spirit responds with a warm glow that builds from the inside out, and you have confirmation that you have created a little more prosperity in the world.
Since this means that you have given enough thought and consideration into picking it out.
The attitude in which a gift is given is actually much more important than gift itself. It’s the thought that count.
It is the quality of the gift that matters and not how much. The widow who gave all that she had is a perfect example of a “Sacrificial giver”. Despite giving little, her gift was regarded as the greatest because she gave all that she had.
“And He said , Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had” (Luke 21:3-4).
We also must learn to give without expecting to get something back(meaning, we are not just giving to get a return). No wonder the Bible says that God loves a cheerful giver.
Giving to the poor is one that promises blessings to the giver. So in giving good gift to those we find in our lives, we allow the universe to give us good gifts also, and this naturally increases our experiences of prosperity in our lives.
